Necklace with 10mm Keshi Pearls


Keshi (or Keishi) pearls form when the mollusc rejects the implanted nucleus and makes it's own pearl. Purists argue whether Keshis are 'natural' pearls or not but it doesn't matter - you either like them or you don't!

Keshi pearls are noted for their flower petal shape and shimmering lustre. Strung on quadruple strands of fine silk thread for extra strength and durability. Fitted with a sterling silver or 22 carat gold vermeil clasp. Presented in a lined, leather-look, necklace case.
